With the 4N Southend Group and Affinity Restaurant right on the office door step you can see the initial attraction, but it takes more than geographic location to make a vestiture of ones time.

Time is a valuable resource, with every business’ investment a return is expected; and a measurable one.

Here lies a conundrum, the venue and menu are measurable but ‘Social Networking’ is intangible.

After attending my first 4N meeting in Warley (now the Basildon group) about a year ago, I decided when the Southend Group was running that I would join.
Joining as somewhat of a novice to breakfast business networking culture I embraced the opportunity; and low behold in May this year was asked to up the ante – to step up and become the Group Leader.

This is the fun part, how to make a measurable success of the ‘intangible’ and as Group Leader of Southend Group. Using the word fun within the daily backdrop of financial planning, business protection modelling and commercial insurance could constitute a break from the norm ! Just a bit…. a dichotomy even.

So now the twist – the social intangible becomes fun and mutually beneficial relationships form. From fertile soil business trust propagates, we reap what we sow.

Under the auspices of trust, relationship and influence your brand awareness grows within a group.

This very goup are business proprietors, ready and willing to promote you and your services. A very interdependent Win Win and we now have a measurable return.

Leadership is being of greater service and there is success inherent in the being; the measurable is in the giving.
