Chris Daems is an independent financial planner and director of Principal Financial Solutions.
Chris has over 12 years experience working with both individuals and SME’s. Chris currently splits his time between providing individual advice to directors of businesses (he finds that due to the fact that he runs his own business he can identify with the challenges these individuals face) and providing help to companies who are facing the challenges of the current changes in pension’s legislation.
Chris believes that he can add true value to his clients by ensuring that he meets with them regularly and therefore provides an ongoing service to both the individuals and businesses he works with so they are kept consistently up to date with their financial plans.
On a personal note, Chris has a daughter, Charlotte, who is 7…and a baby on the way!! Therefore while he is not working on and in his business, he spends his time with his wife and daughter, and nervously preparing for the new arrival!!
Chris likes to travel (having visited places as diverse as Cape Town, Las Vegas, Marrakesh and Colombo, Sri Lanka) and tries to get down to the gym or go for a swim every now and then.
